Kelly Chan is a Chinese-Canadian who has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 2018. Ms. Chan is a member of the employment litigation department at Levin & Nalbandyan, LLP, where she practices labor & employment law. She is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Chan attended University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada where she graduated in 2012 with a major in Political Science, and a minor in Commerce. Ms. Chan earned her J.D from a two-year JD program at Southwestern Law School. She has served as a Law Student Reporter, Law Student Liaison, and Southwestern Law School Student Representative for American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law. She also served as board member of Southwestern Law School's Asian Pacific Law Student Association.
During her time in law school, she was nominated for Ms. JD National Women's Law Students Organization Leadership Academy hosted at Harvard Law School. Additionally, she is an active member of the Asian-Pacific community in Los Angeles. During her spare time, she dedicates her time to volunteer in multiple legal clinics, such as Advancing Justice-LA Immigration Clinic and APABA monthly legal clinic.
Prior to working at Levin & Nalbandyan, Ms. Chan gained experience in a large variety of legal issues as a certified law clerk to the LA County District Attorney's office as well as an associate attorney in a boutique general litigation law firm.
