Marc Shutman is a Los Angeles native, who has been practicing law since 2013, with a primary focus on Workers Compensation Litigation since 2014. Marc attended California State University Los Angeles, graduating in 2008, and then earning his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2012. He is a licensed member of the California Bar, and is admitted to practice in front of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Shutman has been representing plaintiffs and injured workers his entire career, with numerous wins at trial and countless beneficial settlements for his clients. Marc prefers to approach conflicts with an eye towards resolution, cutting through to the heart of the matter and attempting to find a compromise. His interest is in resolving matters as efficiently for his clients as possible. However, he’s more than willing to take a stand and push back against the employers and carriers who attempt to use the system to take advantage of their workers.
In his time outside the office and the courthouse, Marc is not only a voracious reader, but also a member of multiple community sports leagues. When the time can be found, he also enjoys travel and camping, tactical strategy games, and training in Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
